Stories for Hope
Location: Greece
This initiative started as a response to the unprecedented times we are living. I got supported by the Eurobalkan Youth Forum and I collected good practices that took place during quarantine in Greece. I chose the form of story-telling because everyone wants to hear an inspiring story. By reading this story you can understand how solidarity blooms in the middle of such a crisis. I wanted to inspire people and highlight the role of civil society and art in this battle. Even though Greece managed to handle successfully this crisis, there was a significant impact on people’s mental health. The goal of this story is to remind us that there is hope even in the darkest times and that together we can fight against this invisible threat. This story is a reminder that every cloud has a silver lining.
Support
My project is to inspire people in these crucial times. If I could fund it, I would create a platform with inspiring stories that motivate people to be the best version of themselves, to see the light in the darkness, and to make our society better. I would advertise my work in order to create a bigger team, with many stories from all over the world. It would be an international network that promotes social messages in the form of stories. The budget of this project requires the creation of a platform, advertisement, and payment for some of the basic members of the team in order to act on a weekly basis and show appreciation for this movement.
