The International Youth Centre (IYC), Kuala Lumpur, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia and Malaysian Youth Council organized the “International Youth Centres Engagement Conference (IYCEC) from 22 to 28 April 2019 at the International Youth Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main aim of this conference was to gather youth center professionals, practitioners and workers from all over the world in sharing their experiences towards human capital resources. The Asia Pacific Youth Caucus was invited to present on the topic of “meaningful youth engagement in the UN.” Soon after, the Asian Youth Council, which is hosted at IYC, has been observering the Caucus, in order to better understand how to break the silos between various youth-led and youth-serving actors.
