World Cities Day was held in November 2019 at Yekaterinburg, Russia, where Regine Guevara, one of the Regional Caucus Coordinators of the Asia Pacific Youth Caucus, alongside Roman Chukov of Friends of Cities, spoke at UN Habitat’s “Generation 2030: Implementing the Urban Dimensions of SDGs” panel discussion with the National Youth Council of Russia and Friends of Cities. The event launched the SDG Youth Ambassadors, with which MGCY’s principles and barriers of meaningful youth engagement were introduced.
