The UN MGCY Migration Working Group, in partnership with UNICEF & IOM, is organizing a virtual Migration Youth Forum and Youth Leadership and Innovation Award for Migration for this year’s Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD).

• Are you 31 or younger?

We are looking for 70 young people to sit at the same table as major decision makers to engage in common migration policy priorities and actions. The Migration Youth Forum will be a peer-to-peer learning space for the GFMD.

We are also launching the Youth Leadership and Innovation Award for Migration for youth to present their solutions to issues around migration and development. This Award will showcase existing youth-led initiatives that empower and improve the living conditions of young people on the move. Participants will receive support in their journey, including mentorship and seed funding (TBC).
