We send this message of solidarity and support to the PEOPLE OF AFGHANISTAN. No Country can achieve sustainable development when trapped in an endless cycle of conflicts, poverty, and fear.

We call on all faction to lay down their arms. We call for peace and justice, because these two are intertwined; and advocate for an AFGHANISTAN grounded in equality for all and respect for human rights! Having to deal with COVID19 Pandemic and at the same time man-made conflicts only brings more hardships.

We condemn any acts of extremism that lead to injustice and any ways of misusing the good name of religion to justify any conflicts that harm innocent lives.

The people of Afghanistan deserve to call their home, a HOME!

The Friends for Leadership, HIRED Consult, Asian Youth Peace Network, with the support of the regional task force of Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security, Asia-Pacific Youth Caucus/Major Group for Children and Youth, Children and Youth Major Group of UNEP, Global Youth Caucus of SDG16 are committed to and stand for peace around the world through our collective works with various inter-youth communities.

DECISIVELY to avert any loss to human life especially Children and Women, properties and the environment.
