NM HOUSE is an NGO dedicated to helping the vulnerable and homeless with a focus on kids. Get Them Off the Streets is an initiative of NM HOUSE, to sustainably get street children to leave the streets, evolve into responsible citizens and become pillars and testimonies to inspire others.

In response to the covid-19 pandemic, we have been distributing masks and sanitizers and installing sanitary buckets with detergents in the camps where the children live. Given that the total number of children is in thousands which exceed our current financial capability, a lot of them still do not have a means to protect themselves against this deadly virus.

Because of the lock down, the children are most affected as there is no one to beg from on the streets and the few people that go out, are trying to conserve the little they have.

Support

Our budget is about US$2000 short. We have launched campaigns to raise funds, accept donations of face masks and sanitizers as well as partnered with other organisations like EDUMAIL to join forces in our response to the pandemic. We have received some help so far but the response form donors is timid because of the economic breakdown the virus is causing.
