WHAT?

Youth for Peace International (YfPI) is a youth-led peacebuilding organization where they envision a peaceful world of empowered individuals and sustainable societies. It has been working at community, national and international levels with youth (primarily), children and teachers through Peace Education (training and workshops), Refugees Rehabilitation support, activism (creative online campaigns) and Policy Advocacy for Youth Peace and Security globally.

YfPI is offering a year-long fellowship program for young peacebuilders to create an enabling space for people to live in co-existence. Your skills and knowledge are crucial to all the efforts made towards peace. Be brave, Peace needs you!

WHO?

Young people of age group 18-28 years from around the world of all gender can apply.

WHY?

UNSCR 2250, is a first resolution on youth, peace and security adopted by the UN Security Council in 2015, the resolution emphasizes the importance of youth as agents of change in the maintenance and promotion of peace and security. Therefore, in order to counter the global crisis of violence, YfPI believes youth to be the crucial stakeholders to emanate peace from inside-out by instilling values like empathy, nonviolence and inclusiveness.
