Some exciting news for you all!

We are currently setting-up a platform on our website to give visibility to youth initiatives responding to COVID and to the health, social, and economic consequences of the current situation. 

We know how many of you leading initiatives are struggling to find the funds to implement them, and we have heard from some big UN agencies and INGOs that there is some possibility for funding that would become available. We will therefore also be circulating the website page containing the initiatives' profiles with potential funders to see if they are interested in supporting, so please make sure to indicate on the form whether your initiative is currently looking for funds. We can't promise anything but we will try to help connect across this gap. 

So, are you currently leading a response to the current COVID situation in your community? Is your organization developing a specific project? Do you know anyone who is? Submit your initiative to us! (link below)

In order to be eligible to be included, the initiative needs:

• to be youth-led, with at least half the leadership positions being held by people who are 31 or younger, OR strongly youth or children-focused, with its project focusing on people who are 31 or younger;

• AND to be acting in response to the COVID outbreak or its consequences, whether raising awareness about prevention, supporting vulnerable populations during the economic stop-down, supporting mental health, etc.

• there are no other requirements for the initiative to be formal, or of any particular structure. Everyone from informal initiatives to long-staring NGOs are welcome to apply.

Tenemos noticias emocionantes!

Estamos construyendo una plataforma en nuestro sitio web para dar visibilidad a iniciativas lideradas por jóvenes que están reaccionando al COVID y a su consecuencias de salud, sociales y económicas.

Sabemos que muchos de ustedes están liderando excelentes iniciativas y que pero tienen dificultades en encontrar los fundos para implementarlas. Al mismo tiempo, hemos escuchado desde algunas agencias del ONU y  grandes ONGs internacionales que hay algunas posibilidades que tendrán fundos que necesitarán utilizar para esta situación. Entonces, además de la visibilidad en nuestro sitio web, estaremos circulando esta página, continente los perfiles de las iniciativas, a potenciales patrones para ver si estarán interesados en apoyar - por eso, por favor, indiquen en el formulario si su iniciativa está actualmente buscando fundos.  No podemos prometer nada pero podemos ayudar a conectarles.  

Entonces - estás liderando una iniciativa que reacciona a la situación del COVID en tu comunidad? O tal vez tu organización está trabajando en algo sobre este tema? O conocen a alguien que lo está haciendo? Enviános tu iniciativa! (enlace abajo)

Para ser elegible,la iniciativa tiene que:

• ser liderada por jóvenes, con por lo menos la mitad de las posiciones de liderazgo cubierta por jóvenes de 31 años o menos, O con los proyectos muy enfocado en ayudar a juventudes o niñez;

• Y de estar reaccionando al COVID y a su consecuencias, que sea socializando información sobre la prevención, apoyando poblaciones vulnerables durante el paro economics, apoyando a salud mental, etc.

• no hay requisitos adicionales sobre la estructura de la iniciativa - puede ser muy informal o una organización muy establecida. Todos pueden postular.
