Land-based Jobs for Youth - Webinar #2: Attracting investors and learning from mentors
Following an exciting launch of the UNCCD Webinars on land-based jobs for youth, the secretariat of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification is teaming up with the Global Youth Caucus on Desertification and Land in the organization of a series of seminars on land-based jobs for youth.
The second Webinar on land-based jobs for young people will be held on 25th of February and will aim to gather ideas and gain insights into the financing and training of young people interested in land-based jobs, we will have the opportunity to interact with Mr. Oscar Gonsalves, Minister of Finance, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ms. Andrea Meza, Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica and youth entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean among others.
We would like to invite you to send us a video (30 seconds) with your question in advance in English, Spanish or French before Monday 15th of February. The video specs are the following:
Horizontal orientation
Film in HD (preferably 1080p at 30 fps)
Distance from the camera (Hold the camera arm’s length away or prop it up about that distance away).
Flip the screen so you can see yourself, but look into the phone’s camera (not at yourself on the screen).
Try to find a quiet space with minimal background noise (e.g. close windows to outdoor noise, turn off fans, etc.).
