【Call for Application】RFP and GFP for Humanitarian Affairs Working Group
Are you passionate about humanitarian affairs? The UN MGCY Humanitarian Affairs Working Group is accepting applications for Global and Regional Focal Points!
Activities within the UN MGCY span four areas of work: capacity building, knowledge, advocacy/policy, and action. Working Group serves as the main organizational structure for members to engage collectively on specific thematic topics, especially relating to particular intergovernmental and multilateral processes and avenues at the UN.
Focal points, both at the global and regional level, serve as volunteer facilitators that are either selected or elected to support UN MGCY’s activities. The working group is coordinated by two Global Focal Points (GFP) and 16 Regional Focal Points (RFP) - 2 for each of the 8 regions; South and Central Asia, East and South-East Asia, Middle East and North Africa, East and Southern Africa, West and Central Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Western Europe and North America, and Pacific.
If you have a strong motivation to work 'with and for' other young people in humanitarian affairs, this is your chance to apply and join our coordination team. Please apply by filling out the following application form by March 20, 2020.
