Contest: AYPN/ASEAN/Facebook Earth Day From Home

Calling all ASEAN citizens! Creativity isn’t cancelled. Activism isn’t cancelled.  On the 50th year of Earth Day, we call upon poets, photographers, and environmentalists at heart, to write 4-line poems in English about the conservation and protection of wildlife in the region. 
Biodiversity is declining at an unprecedented rate. Illegal wildlife trade, habitat change and other drivers of biodiversity loss bring about unnatural living conditions for wildlife to move and interact with other animal species, from which arise pandemics, to disasters. Mother Earth has had many lessons to teach about the global crisis of planetary health - the health of our ecosystem is inextricably linked with human health.  Let’s be in solidarity with the rest of the region, in raising public awareness on the conservation and protection of wildlife, which present timely opportunities for jointly protecting human health and biodiversity in ASEAN.
