Partnership with UN YAB Philippines

The UN Youth Advisory Board of the Philippines and the UN Major Group for Children and Youth Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinating Caucus collaborated for a series of consultations after the last elections, with the aim of discussing the various narrative and similar interests of Filipino youth. The caravan will go around the regions of the country to ensure representation of rural areas and minorities. As the first of many,  this core group consists of peers and colleagues from the local youth-led advocacy and political landscape, who will contribute to the development of an initial strategy towards meaningful youth engagement in the governance goal, SDG 16, in the Republic of the Philippines, and possibly, the ASEAN region. More information about the initiative can be found here.
