Where does GCIYO Engage?

Recognising the unique positioning of international youth organisations/entities and the cross-cutting nature of their work, GCIYO engages in the formal youth constituencies of different UN processes/avenues across the pillars, areas of work. In addition, it also engages in matters relevant to youth policy and development and avenues specifically related to international youth entities/organisations.

It is open to all formal and informal youth led and serving entities that identify their scope of work as international.

Coordination

Thematic Focal Points

The platform may identify from its membership thematic focal points corresponding to different processes/avenues in coordination with the respective youth constituencies. The thematic focal points may include, inter alia, Peace and Security, Resilience and Humanitarian Affairs, Sustainable Development-Social Issues, Environmental Issues, Economic Issues, Human Rights
