The Global Youth Initiative on Peace and Security is happy to announce an open for global focal points for different youth constituencies related to the UN’s work on its peace and security  pillar.

We encourage all interested candidates to apply.

What are GFPs?

They may be member entities that are responsible for the overall facilitation of the specific constituency and its tasks. Their scope of work includes the primary process/avenue as related to their topic, including engagement in processes associated with the central theme of the primary process, the work of the HLPF and ECOSOC youth forum  as needed, and the UN IANYD.

Coordinate and facilitate meaningful youth engagement in disarmament  related processes and avenues at the UN and other relevant avenues.

Coordinate and facilitate meaningful youth engagement in process and avenues related to genocide preventon and responsibility  at the UN and other relevant avenues.

Coordinate and facilitate meaningful youth engagement in counter terrorism related processes and avenues at the UN and other relevant avenues.

Coordinate and facilitate meaningful youth engagement in crime related processes and avenues at the UN and other relevant avenues.
