Launch of #YouthAgainstCOVID19
We are very excited to share the launch of the #YouthAgainstCOVID19 campaign by UNFPA, Prezi, UNMGCY and partners. We've been working closely over the past few weeks to shape the campaign and the upcoming videos - with more to come in the near future.
We know that young people around the world are working together to protect themselves and their families from COVID-19, to support their communities, and prevent the spread of the outbreak.
The campaign will feature youth from around the world sharing how COVID-19 affects them and other young people (including their sexual and mental health) and how young people are taking action to lead the charge against the pandemic.
It is possible for all viewers to recreate the videos themselves using the Prezi Video platform, making it possible for them to add their ideas and inputs, and translate the content in their local language. Watch the intro video to learn more.
You can find all videos and relevant assets here. You can also find the answers to the most common questions in this note for dissemination partners. Follow @UNFPA and @UNFPAYouth for the latest updates. If you join us on social media, make sure to tag us at @UNMGCY and use the hashtag #YouthAgainstCOVID19
We trust that you will share the message far and wide and also add your voice to the campaign. Create a video yourself, share with your networks, and become part of the youth movement for COVID-19.
We are also looking for young people to help us translate future videos or adapt to their own context e.g. the experiences of young people living in indigenous communities, or those living in fragile or conflict-affected settings etc. If you are interested, please message us at sdg3gfp@unmgcy.org with your details and how you want to contribute.
