FINAL - Flyer Online Discussion on UNSCR 2535 - 30 July.png

Last week the UN Security Council adopted its third resolution on Youth, Peace, and Security: UNSCR 2535. Some of you have shaped its contents by participating in the consultations with the two sponsoring states, France and the Dominican Republic. What does this resolution mean to young peacebuilders around the world? How is it different from resolutions 2250 and 2419?

Join our online discussion on Thursday 30 July at 9 - 10 am EST to find out. Please register at shorturl.at/EWY59 to receive the link to the event. More info in the attached concept note.

DescriptionThis online discussion on ‘Youth Peace & Security (YPS) Resolutions: From Paper to Reality’ is organised by the United Network of Youth Peacebuilders (UNOY) for young peacebuilders and YPS organisations to discuss the progress made, gaps in policy-making and implementation, and challenges causing this gap.
