Youth engage in the negotiations on Global Pact for the Environment
Facilitated by the UN Environment Programme Major Group for Children and Youth, youth and youth organisations took part in the first round of informal consultations on the Global Pact for the Environment, aimed toward strengthening international environmental law, governance and the role of the UN system in stronger national policies. A youth blast took place on 20th July, which saw participation from expert trainers from UNEP and Stakeholders Forum followed by a week of negotiations.
