Launch of Youth Compact Champions and Youth Compact Fund
The Youth Compact Champions Programme will provide 18 months support, to 35 hard-to-reach young advocates and practitioners (aged 18-30) who have been affected by humanitarian crisis and have experience of leading humanitarian action.
The Programme builds on the collective work, initiatives and passion of the Compact members to date, and is aligned to the Compact’s guidance on working with and for young people in response to the COVID-19 emergency. The programme is currently co-coordinated by the UN Major Group for Children & Youth, ActionAid and Restless development with funding from the Danish Government (DANIDA) and support from Compact members including Norwegian Refugee Council, War Child Holland and UNFPA.
