Youth video submission for Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Nature-Based Solutions and youth: share your insights

This is a call for 1-minute video submissions addressing and sharing aspirations on nature-based solutions. The target group for this call and the recorders should be youth. These recordings will be integrated within a MOOC on Nature-Based solutions produced by the UNEP, supported by UNMGCY.

The focus of the video will be two-fold: i) sharing my perspective on nature for future generations (with a personal touch!) ii) what can I do (or already do) for nature-based solutions and increasing climate and disaster resilience?

Below you can find some suggestions on the possible content. You can come up with other ideas and explore them.

  • Share your thoughts on how nature can help the next generations live in a world that is more resilient to climate and disaster risks 

  • Share your thoughts on how you can contribute to a world more resilient to climate and disaster risks, using natural solutions 

  • Share your thoughts on the existing or potential use of technology in supporting nature-based solutions 

  • Share how natural area inspires you as a measure that improves for climate and disaster resilience. You can show a close-by area where you live -e.g. a river embankment, an urban park, wetlands or ponds, green roof areas. (in case you are able and it’s safe to go out in the current context!) – which contributes to the overall resilience of your community
