The Global Youth Humanitarian Caucus is delighted to invite you to our ‘Virtual Roundtable Discussion on Localisation in Humanitarian Settings - Different Facets,’ held in conjunction with the ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment 2024 at the UN Office in New York.

This roundtable will explore the crucial issue of humanitarian localisation focusing on the inclusion and empowerment of local actors within the international humanitarian response framework. Our discussion aims to address the ethical, political and economic dimensions of localisation seeking pathways for a more equitable and effective humanitarian response system.
