Kapamagugopa Donation Drive

Location: Philippines (Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte)

Kapamagugopa Donation Drive is a fundraising initiative which primarily aims to provide food bags for vulnerable groups living in Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte affected by the global health crisis and the measures implemented to flatten the curve. The team is also a big believer of the importance of information as vital form of aid, especially in strengthening the COVID-19 preparedness of the community and its members. Hence, part of our effort is on raising public awareness about COVID-19 along with providing necessary medical supplies to the rural health units and provincial hospital.

Support

The required budget for our second wave of operations is 65,000 in Philippine peso. We are still in the process of finding funds to support our second wave which we partnered with a bigger fundraising campaign (Kapit-Mindanao) targeted to support 20 Mindanao communities. Since we're only a small team, our reach is very limited but we try to maximise whatever resources we have online and offline. We reach out to people personally by messaging them and asking them to support and share our cause.
