Hive Edutainment
Location: Nigeria (Nkpolu Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State)
Hive Edutainment is a social enterprise and a sub-unit of SraDev Nigeria. Our Team is made up of young creative in film production. We collaborate and partner with other organizations to produce short films for social change, to communicate the SDGs, hence, we are called "filmmakers for social change".
We want to take advantage of the quarantine to create an informative video for young people in quarantine.The video will be a short 20 Seconds explainer Videos/graphics tagged (CARE VID-19) in 6 different Rivers State languages (Ikwerre, Ogoni, Kalabari, Etche, Okrika, Abua Odua ) We intend to share these videos/graphics to young people via social media platforms using Well known comedian in Port Harcourt. Hive intends to carry this project out in three (3) phases.
The first phase is identification of influential comedians.
Phase two, will be a strategic move/production/social media storm.
Our third phase, will be evaluating responses/ impacts/report.
Support
We have budgeted 2000 naira Internet data per the influencial comedian. Which gives a total of 120,000 Nigerian naira. We have the equipment and crew to film and edit videos with these comedians and we are working with our partners SraDev Nigeria who is also providing us some technical assistance for the production as well as working us through the project.
