Youth Against COVID

Location: Nigeria (36 states of Nigeria)

The Youth Collective Action Against COVID-19 is a Youth-led initiative as a response to the plight of young people in Nigeria. A coalition of ten (10) youth-led organizations came together to form a movement. These organizations are:

5. State of African Diaspora 6. Afro Science Foundation

6. Centre for Healing and Truth

8. The Stat Factor Effect

We have a budget of USD35000 accounting for the cost of facilitating essential items and processes. We have designed a fundraising campaign/concert to help cover some of the costs.

Here, we form strategic alliances with the Nigerian celebrity community: movie actors, musicians, athletes, and other social media influencers to host virtual concepts and drive fundraising through social media channels. What we are missing is the initial funding to organize the fundraising concerts.
