Courtesy Call with ASEAN Secretariat

UN MGCY Asia Pacific RCC, through the Committee for ASEAN Youth Cooperation, organized a courtesy call with Mr. Chandra Putra, Youth Division of the ASEAN Secretariat. The RCC shared developments about meaningful youth engagement across the 3 pillars: ASEAN Political Security Community, ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community and ASEAN Economic Community, through the following initiatives :

  1. ASEAN Youth DRR Network with ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance Center (Humanitarian Affairs and DRR Working Groups)

  2. Asian Youth Peace Network with ASEAN Peace and Reconciliation Institute (SDG 16 Caucus)

  3. RCEP Lecture Series with ASEAN Foundation (SDG 8 Working Group)
