International Day on Elimination of Nuclear Weapons

On the International Day on Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, the UN MGCY together with Asian Youth Peace Network, African Youth Commission, March for Our Lives USA and other partners, organized an Inter-generational Round Table Discussion on Peace and Disarmament Nexus on 26 September. The session brought together youth, government officials, academics, environmentalists, politicians and NGOs to highlight the intersection between disarmament, climate justice, youth peace and security and look at options to drive forward meaningful youth engagement in the nexus.
