Making the world a better place by reading a story? That sounds like a plan!

UNODC is launching a creative reading competition across the Middle East and North Africa! With the Education for Justice (E4J) initiative and the energetic Zorbs alien characters, you can help many children escape boredom during COVID-19 and learn about the values of respect, tolerance, integrity, justice and fairness!

How to win? Easy! All you have to do is read the “Do It Like The Zorbs” story in your own way! You can make a video, a song, an animation, a dance or any form of art.

Like it is for the Zorbs, the sky is the limit!

We want you to speak your dialect and to have as much fun as the children will when seeing you tell the story!

You can find the book and more about The Zorbs in the Fun Corner.

Winners will be chosen based on simplicity, creativity and passion!

To take part, please send your submission to: unodc-egyptfieldoffice@un.org

Alternatively, you can use the same email address to send the video via a file-sharing service such as Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive by the 22 July 2020.

National Winners will be announced on 29 July and regional winners on 4 August 2020.
