What is the UN Food Systems Summit 2021 (UN FSS 2021)?

In 2021 (tentatively at July/ August), UN Secretary-General António Guterres will convene a Food Systems Summit to raise global awareness and land global commitments and actions that transform food systems to resolve not only hunger, but to reduce diet-related disease and heal the planet.

Join The Youth Focus Group for the UN Food Systems Summit

We are calling on youth entities/organizations and young people working on topics addressed by the summit to join the UN FSS Youth Focus Group and also get engaged with the UNMGCY. 

Deadline- It will work on a rolling basis, but the first communication to the Focus Group will go out after the 15th of July.

Food Systems Summit Secretariat is very happy to review our suggestions and recommendations for the summit; from its structure to intended political welcome. So, we would like to welcome all youths and Youth NGOs to give inputs, for making your voice heard.

Hosting the ‘Youth Food Systems Summit’ agenda of the UN Food Systems Summit

We are in the process of conceptualising a possible Youth Food Systems Summit that could take place in the lead-up to the FSS, and kindly seek your inputs
