Global Youth Position Paper SDG Summit (and Consultation Summary)

As communicated in the newsletter below, there will be two primary documents going as inputs from youth to the SDG Summit: the first and primary document is the Global Youth Position Paper for the SDG Summit, which is being prepared by MGCY (all of us), and the secondary document is the summary of the consultations (the virtual “Torchbearers” consultations coordinated by/in partnership with OSGEY) and further on-ground consultations being mobilized. Please note that this has been endorsed by the UN and the Position Paper will be disseminated to member states.

Regarding the Global Youth Position Paper

A structural draft for this will be shared tomorrow. Furthermore, we invite you to the SDG Summit Youth Focus Group meeting on  Friday, 1st September from 15utc - 16.15 utc to work on the SDG Summit Position paper. This meeting is open to all interested young people. Meanwhile, please find the link to the version 1 of Position paper here that was submitted to the UN earlier this year.
